TXM Global Solutions ("we", "us", or "our") operates the TXM Connect platform (the "Service"). This page
informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Data when you use our
Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Important: Data Controller vs. Data Processor
To ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar laws, it is important to
understand our role:
- For Agencies (Admins): We act as a Data Controller for your account information (e.g., your
billing details, admin email).
- For Clients, Captains, Vendors, and Passengers: We act as a Data Processor. The Agency that
invited you or managed your trip is the Data Controller. We process your data strictly based on the Agency's
instructions and to provide the Service.
If you are a passenger or staff member wishing to exercise your data rights (access, deletion), please contact
the Agency that organized your trip.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Personal Data
We may collect the following information:
- Identity Data: Name, Job Title, Role.
- Contact Data: Email address, Phone number.
- Trip Data: Itinerary details, flight information, hotel bookings.
- Content: Messages sent via our Chat feature, photos uploaded for Issue Reporting.
2.2 Location Data (Critical)
Captain App: We collect precise location data from Captains using the mobile app only when:
- A trip is marked as "Ongoing".
- The "SOS" button is triggered.
Purpose: This data is used solely to provide real-time tracking to the Agency for safety and
logistics coordination.
Consent: You will be asked to grant location permissions. You can disable this at any time,
but the SOS feature may not function correctly without it.
2.3 Usage Data
We may collect information on how the Service is accessed and used (e.g., IP address, browser type, device ID,
pages visited).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for various purposes:
- To provide and maintain the Service (e.g., showing your itinerary).
- To notify you about changes to your trip (Push/Email notifications).
- To facilitate communication between Agency, Client, and Captain.
- To provide customer support.
- To monitor the usage of the Service and detect technical issues.
- Emergency Safety: To broadcast your location to your Agency Admin in case of an SOS alert.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- With the Agency: If you are a Captain, Vendor, or Client, your data is visible to the
Agency managing the trip.
- Service Providers: We employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service (e.g.,
Supabase for database hosting, Resend for emails, Firebase for push notifications). These third parties have
access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or
use it for any other purpose.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in
response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Retention: We retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes
set out in this Privacy Policy.
- Account Deletion: You have the right to delete your account. You can do this within the app
settings under Security -> Delete Account.
- Effect: This will permanently remove your login credentials and personal profile.
- Agency Data: Note that if your data (e.g., name on a manifest) is part of an Agency's trip
record, that record may be retained by the Agency (Data Controller) for their business or legal compliance
records.
6. Your Data Protection Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- The right to access: You can ask for copies of your personal data.

To exercise these rights, please contact us or the Agency managing your data.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption (SSL/TLS) for data in transit and secure
database storage via Supabase. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic
storage is 100% secure.
